I love baths! Itโs an instant chill pill for me. Slipping into the hot water has been my ultimate self care lately. Even more so now that Iโve read up on the many benefits of magnesium / epsom salt soaks. Magnesium is well know for helping to relieve muscle tension, but what I didnโt know was how beneficial it was for anxiety. What a winning combo, a warm relaxing bath with a dash of calm.
This beautiful recipe is straight from Herbal Academyโs botanical skincare recipe book. It pulls in classic bath salts with a garden full of blooms! This recipe is heavenly & you really need to save & try it out yourself ๐ ๐ who doesnโt want to bathe in flowers?? the smell alone is a wonderful experience.
Also, PRO TIP ๐ when your dried herbs seem to be nearing their shelf life expiration date, put them to good use by using in recipes like this bath soak, or other topical beauty recipes.

Hereโs the recipe to try:
โจ 1 cup epsom salt
โจ 1 cup pink Himalayan salt
โจ 1/2 cup baking soda
โจ 1/2 cup rose
โจ 1/2 cup lavender
โจ 1/2 cup calendula (I didnโt have enough so added a dash of chamomile too!)
โจ 1/2 cup tulsi
โจ mix all ingredients in a bowl. Transfer to jar with a lid & store for up to a year.
โจ add a handful or two of the bath mix to a muslin bag & place it into your bath.

Get ready for a lovely, relaxing, soothing, calming, all the feels adjective, kind of bath!!
