Red clover & Mugwort
Tonight! Try this recipe tonight under the pink super full moon. The pull & energy is super charged. Beaming brightest in the night sky. The first super full moon of the year. This full moon is the perfect time to make a special lunar infusion. Specifically a superwoman infusion ✨
Two beautiful herbal allies will swirl and steep under the moonlight. The lunar energy will pull out the plant’s magical benefits, creating a super infusion.
Lunar infusions are a wonderful way to create a strong & nourishing herbal tea. There’s something about the cold, crisp air and glow from the moon that makes it taste better.
Here’s what I’m infusing & why:
Much like the cycle of the moon, everything comes full circle. These two herbs have the same cyclical ability. To help women through their reproductive journey. At each stage, these two herbs offer helping benefits to those who use them.
Red clover, this lovely flowering herb has so many benefits. Specifically, I’m making an infusion to focus on women’s reproductive health. This herbal ally has a little something for each stage.
❤️When consumed it can help with increasing fertility.
❤️As a blood thinner, red clover can also help with clotting during menstruation.
❤️Additionally those who are going through menopause, red clover has also been said to help calm hot flashes.
❤️On top of those, red clover is full of vitamins and minerals making it a very nourishing infusion.
She of the Woods has some great information on red clover and one I didn’t know, which is to only drink red clover in short spurts. If taken for prolonged periods, the blood thinning properties in red clover could pose problems.
Mugwort is an herb of the feminine and has an affinity for the reproductive organs as well.
❤️ Mugwort will help balance and support a regular menstrual cycle
❤️ Soothe cramping
❤️ Ease you into the transition of menopause
(Mugwort should not be taken when pregnant)
I mixed equal parts of both herbs following the general rule of thumb: 1 tablespoon of herb to 1 cup of water.
Happy super full moon!!

I made a woman’s moon herbal tea infusion when I was still in menses. Blessed thistle, meadow sweet, Turkish rhubarb, mugwort, astragalus, elderberry or flowers, and sometimes red clover or raspberry leaves. After drinking this, my cycle increased intensity in finished expelling within 3 days. It went back to 5 days after a month with no tea infusion. Thank God for the Diva cup. 😉💞
